5 Ways to Be Productive From the Comfort of Your Sofa
Who said that to be productive, you couldn’t be comfortably sitting on your sofa? We’re here to remind you that it IS totally possible and that it makes an excellent way for you to switch up your routine a bit. For these reasons, this week’s Top Five Friday shares five ways to be productive from the comfort of your sofa. After all, remote working and learning make it easier than ever to be productive while being comfortable!
Plan, plan, plan
It’s Tuesday morning, and you’re already feeling tired and overwhelmed by all the online work you have to do. In order to calm down, why not take 15 minutes to sit on your sofa and write down what is coming up in your agenda? Some people say that having a plan for the day makes no real difference in productivity, but we tend to disagree. With your weekdays all planned out, you’ll be able to see the bigger picture, and there’s no better place to schedule your time than on a Cozey sofa. What a great way to start a day!
Order the groceries
In the era we live in, ordering has become the new shopping. Why not make the most out of your break time on your couch by ordering the groceries you’ll need for the week? It’s going to be one thing less for you to do during the day, and you’ll feel quite proud of yourself for being productive while comfortably being seated. Who said productivity and sofa were antonyms?
Love It & Pin It
We don’t know at 100% whether scrolling through Pinterest should be categorized as productive, but it does get the creative juices working. We’re not saying you should spend an hour of your time doing it, but looking for recipes and interior design inspo for a couple of minutes can definitely make you productive. You’ll get ideas for this week’s dinners, and you’ll spot all the DIY Christmas decorations you want to do on the weekend. Productive? Oh yes!
This productivity tip is for every student out there. Ever been told that it was good to vary the places where you get your studying done? Well, if you haven’t already, you should. And why not move from your desk to your sofa? Zoom University can get quite dull, but we promise your lecture on Political Theory will be more interesting if you spend half of it comfortably sitting on your couch. It’ll just be like watching a movie! Except it won’t be, but still, you’ll be productive while being comfortable. Best of both worlds!
Shop for Christmas Gifts
Hellooo Holidays! We don’t mean to be too extra here, but Christmas IS GETTING CLOSER AND CLOSER on the calendar. This means that festive shopping is also creeping up, and we suggest that you don’t do that on December 22nd this year. With the current pandemic hitting the world at the moment, shopping in person may be intimidating. For this reason, make sure to consult online retail stores. Thanks to e-commerce, shopping from your couch is possible, and we couldn’t be happier about that. Getting your mother-in-law that electric heated blanket she’s been eyeing for the past year will never have been this easy and cozy.
